The Drake Equation And Fermi Paradox – Space is huge. The sheer size of our galaxy, let alone the universe, is a mammoth task for our primate brains to understand. Is there other intelligent life amongst the 100 billion that make up our city of stars? This dissertation attempts to put a figure on it. It also offers an answer to The Fermi Paradox, the puzzle that asks, ‘if the galaxy is teeming with aliens, where is everybody?’
